Camping

Word on the street is; finally a summer worth staying home for. Well, the fact is, for most of us the ever present reccession has made us all think about cheap holidays at home this summer.

One great way of easing the purse strings is to go camping. If your thinking more ‘Carry on Camping’ than ‘on the Costa’s’ then its time to throw out the old ideas and embrase this credit crunching holiday getaway.

Campsites have traditionaly been the stomping ground for the country walkers and families with facilities very basic. As a more varied demographic are considering staying in Britain this year, campsite are becoming more savy at attracting guests.

You will find campsites all over britain from in the heart of our national parks or on the edge of a secluded beach, so finding one one near your chosen location should not be a difficulty.

You can now find sites that will accept only adults thus allowing camp fires (part of the old shcool charm) or sites which don’t accept groups. So if your new to camping then you‘ll be forgiven for thinking; crowed campsites full of screaming kids and old people. This can be true for a lot of campsites but if your looking to replace your romantic break or holiday with friends then don’t dispair we have put together a list of campiste just for you.
